The fee for the Rammed Earth session is ₱4,800, which includes lunch and a guided tour of nearby natural building projects.

Part 1 focuses on:
• Ethos and Principles of Regeneration: Understanding why it’s essential to avoid overconsumption of resources.
• Introduction to Natural Building Methods: Covering techniques such as rammed earth, neotabique pampango, biopools and ponds, and artisanal glulam.

Where is the venue?

The Masterclass will be held at Maka Forest Villa, Alfonso, Cavite, the pioneering site for Balika’s natural building projects.

Is there hands-on experience?

Yes, but hands-on activities depend on the attendee’s ability to:
• Use tamping tools (weighing 2.5 kg to 12 kg).
• Climb scaffolds on construction sites.
• Work outdoors under the heat of the sun.

Who is the instructor, and what are his credentials?

The instructor is Ronnie Yumang, an ASEAN Architect specializing in Regenerative Architecture.
• He designed and built Maka Forest Villa.
• He is a recognized authority in the Philippines for revolutionizing rammed earth construction and natural building methods.
